Schlimmer family · Homeschool + family planning
Appears on Amelia's checklist for the day you choose, then disappears. Won't repeat.
Prints today's week as a clean overview for the homeschool room fridge.
Auto-colored from your break dates.
Pulls from your recipe library, this week's calendar, and any notes you give it. Picks four dinners Monday–Thursday and explains each one.
Tap any meal to open the recipe.
Shopping list moved → It has its own tab now with checkable items, auto-fill from your plan, and one-tap Instacart send.
Save recipes once, use them every week. Tag what matters (oven-ready, husband-can-make, high-protein) — that's what makes future AI suggestions smart.
Tap an item to check it off. Rebuild pulls from your staples, planned meal recipes, and any Low/Out inventory items — preserving anything you've added or checked.
One item per line. Auto-included every time you rebuild the shopping list.
Reset options + access to features hidden from the main tab bar.
Subscribe your iPhone Calendar to the family feed. Every event on your dashboard shows up in Apple Calendar with two alerts — 1 hour before + 15 minutes before — so you never miss anything. James subscribes on his phone too and gets the same alerts.

iOS re-fetches the feed every ~1 hour, so events you add here appear on iPhone Calendar within an hour (usually much faster). Each event fires two alerts: 1 hour and 15 min before.
Clears ALL your data: calendar events, meal plans, prep notes, shopping lists, staples, star chart progress, rewards, devotional journal entries, week check-offs. Basically returns the whole dashboard to Day 1.
Recipes are preserved — you keep your recipe library since those are your work.
These tabs are hidden from the main bar. Tap to open when needed — they still sync and work normally.
Firebase syncs everything across your laptop and phone. Green dot in the top-right = synced. If you nuke data on one device, it syncs the wipe everywhere within a few seconds.
Set the recurring checklist items for each day of the week (Amelia's dashboard renders this every day, not just school days). Add a timer duration to any task and she'll get a Start button on her end.
Set a duration for each of Amelia's morning-routine and daily-checklist tasks. She'll see a big Start button on her dashboard; a giant progress bar shows time passing. Voice reminders fire at halfway and when time's almost up. Screen stays awake during the timer.
Reminders use ElevenLabs for a warm, natural voice — auto-falls back to the iPad's built-in voice if the API is down. Paste your ElevenLabs voice ID to use a specific voice (or a clone of your own voice).
Edit the list of screen-free ideas Amelia sees when she taps "I'm bored — what should I do?" on her dashboard. Emoji is optional (she still sees emojis on her page). Changes sync to her iPad within a few seconds.
If a standing event (like Mom teaches fitness or MyGym) accidentally got hidden forever when you tried to skip just one week, this brings them all back so you can decide what to do.
Wipes ALL recurring events + one-off calendar events across every week, then rebuilds with your confirmed 2026-27 schedule (fitness door-to-door times, school blocks Mon-Fri, MyGym Wed, sewing Mon dates, Full STEAM Ahead Thu dates). Karate + Piano + Mimi are left off — add manually when confirmed.
Last-resort calendar rebuild. Deletes ALL calendar events (recurring + one-off across every week + exceptions). Only use if the calendar is beyond fixing. Prefer editing the Recurring Schedule from the Calendar tab.
Track what you're stocked on. Tap an item to cycle Have → Low → Out → Have. Anything marked Low or Out appears on the Meals shopping list automatically.
Daily resets take 5–10 minutes. The zone of the day is the one deep-clean focus that keeps the house from spiraling.
Each weekday has one focused area. Tap a day to jump to its checklist.
Logging a session doesn't ask Claude anything on its own. Tap Ask Claude about this work on a session for feedback on that one, Analyze trend above for a pattern across four weeks of a subject, or the question box below for anything else.
For questions that aren't tied to a specific worksheet — e.g., "she's frustrated with Apologia, how do I bring it to life for a 7-year-old?"
Pick 3–5 specific things you want to do with the kids this week. Less is more. Check them off when done.
Click any idea to add it to your week. These are screen-free, low-setup, work-with-a-toddler-around activities.
Amelia checks off behaviors on her own page. Give bonus stars here. Tap Count the week to move earned stars into her jars: 2 Give, 2 Save, 1 Rent, the rest to Spend. You can count any day and as often as you like; it only ever tops up the difference.
Tap to give Amelia a star for that behavior today. Same data she sees on her page — cross-syncs.
Running total of what Amelia earned each day (behaviors + bonus). Resets Monday.
Edits here show up on Amelia's dashboard. She redeems from her Spend jar. Change prices, add new rewards, retire ones she's outgrown.
Rename, delete, or add categories. Deleting a category moves its to-dos to "Personal".
Providers you actually call — kid activities, medical, family, home services. Tap a phone number to call, an address to open Maps.

Pick a day. If it already has a meal in that slot, they'll swap.
A link to a recipe site or blog — paste it and the ingredients, timing and steps come across on their own.

Group your contacts however makes sense — by activity, room, urgency, whatever fits.
Enter the lesson number and page range for each subject this week. Leave a field blank to keep the default. Changes apply everywhere the week's lessons show up.

Any date range you want blocked off — vacations, holidays, sick weeks, whatever. Colors flow into the semester calendar above.
Six is the sweet spot. Keep it short so Amelia can actually finish. Two blanks worth of open capacity if you want to add a temporary focus.
Tops her jars up to what she actually earned, using 2 Give, 2 Save, 1 Rent, the rest to Spend. Counting twice adds nothing the second time.
Groups the reward menu on Amelia's page. Default: Spend now / The little store / Save up for it.
Group your inventory however makes sense — by room, by shelf, however you shop.
Group recipes into your own categories. A recipe can live in multiple collections.
